Something no longer fits...

You’re successful. Experienced. Respected. And somewhere in the last few years, you’ve started to lose the thread, not dramatically, just quietly, in a way that’s hard to explain to anyone who hasn’t felt it.

If you recognise that feeling, you’re in exactly the right place.

Does any of this sound familiar?

You’ve built a successful career over decades. The rewards came. The promotions came. And somewhere along the way, the work stopped meaning what it once did. Not suddenly. Just quietly, over time..

You’re not in crisis. This isn’t a breakdown. It’s more subtle than that – a slow, growing sense of having lost the thread of who you are, somewhere beneath the performance, the title, and the expectations of others.

You’ve been telling yourself you’ll reassess when things settle down. When the current project finishes. When the kids leave home. When the time is right. And the time never quite becomes right.

Or perhaps the decision has been made for you – a restructure, a role at risk, a redundancy you didn’t see coming. The external event is new. But if you’re honest, the feeling beneath it has been building for longer than that.

If you’ve been carrying this quietly for longer than you’d like to admit, you’re not alone. Most people never name it – because the feeling builds so slowly that by the time you notice it, you’ve already been living with it for years.
I’ve been where you are. It’s why I created a structured coaching programme specifically designed for this moment, to help you produce a concrete plan for the next chapter

A coaching progrmme based on academic research

This programme is built on my original research conducted through Henley Business School, one of the world’s leading institutions for coaching and leadership development.

The research involved in-depth interviews with sixteen people who had been through exactly this experience – eight men and eight women, all in senior roles, all navigating change somewhere in the 40–60 age bracket. I wanted to understand the shape of what they’d lived through, and to test it against one of the oldest storytelling frameworks in human history – the Hero’s Journey.

The results surprised me.

“Agency in a midlife transition isn’t something you have at the start. It’s something you build, retrospectively, out of events that rarely felt fully within your control at the time.”

Eight sessions. A concrete plan for what comes next.

This is a structured eight-session programme with a clear arc, specific frameworks, and a defined outcome at the end of it.

Excavate the past We map the story you’ve been living, the decisions, the detours, the moments that shaped the professional identity you’re now questioning.

Understand what energises you and what matters Using strengths-based psychometrics and values work, we build a precise picture of what you’re genuinely good at and what actually matters to you.

Design genuinely different futures. Three distinct possible next chapters, each explored for fit, energy, and confidence.

A specific, written plan for the next chapter – clear enough to start and grounded in everything the previous seven sessions have revealed.

The programme is available for individuals and for organisations supporting employees
